WHAT A DAY!!! We were uncertain what to expect: we hit the ground running on April 17th!
Our wonderful friends arrived early to help set up the salon. The stylists and people helping wore Red Shirts.
Then promptly at 10:00 a.m. generous clients and friends arrived to enjoy being pampered with a hair styling.
Our wonderful Salon Da Vinci team showed up and started doing what they do best! Giving people amazing new do’s! All ages came and our team had a great time!
Face Painting by Natalia consisted of creating very cool images on our younger clients. Balloon Twisting Artists joined Natalia to complement our special event. They were awesome! Please take Look at the pictures and you will see very artistic face painting and balloon art!
Sgt. Pepperoni Pizza quenched our hunger by donating delicious pepperoni and cheese pizza for all to enjoy.
Kona Kai water donated bottled water to wash down the pizza.
For dessert nursing students from Stanbridge College sold delicious sweets. They asked if they could join us for the same cause. Their donations went to Shelter Box. They raised around $200.00 selling 3 cookies for a $1.00 or a dollar a cupcake, etc. They were great!
While people were waiting they enjoyed a $1.00 a
minute shoulder and back massage from Takami from Luna Body Care. (Very Popular!)
John Crandall from NewportBeach.Patch.com came by and took pictures and wrote a great article. We received some post donations which brought up the total amount raised. John reported $1270.00; but by the end of the following week we raised $1433.00. Please check it out @ NewportBeach.Patch.com.
Last but not least John from Studio B took lots of great pictures. Enjoy viewing them and if you are in any please come by the salon and we will have a print for you!
Thank you to everyone who participated to help the people in Japan who are going through a very challenging time.
